WELCOME TO ALPHA TAU OMEGA

Today, Alpha Tau Omega is considered America’s Leadership Development Fraternity; we have over 140,000 living alumni and more than 6,500 undergraduate members in over 140 chapters across the nation. These men are brothers by choice based on their merits as men of character.

ATO was founded by Otis Allan Glazebrook, Erskine Mayo Ross and Alfred Marshall, at the Virginia Military Institute in 1865 upon Christian-not Greek-principles.

ATO was not established in imitation of or in opposition to any existing fraternity.

The ATO Foundation was officially recognized in June of 1935 at the 34th Congress in Memphis, Tenn.

Alpha Tau Omega is America's Leadership Development Fraternity. With more than 160,000 living alumni and 7,500 undergraduates on 140 campuses across the country, ATO is a Division I fraternity dedicated to developing tomorrow's leaders today.
